Kemetic Blessing Prayer

This is a prayer I wrote to be used in shrine as a daily prayer. I mostly struggle to be consistent with daily rites, but have found this one to be something that I can do consistently. I also designed this so that it could be turned into a simple ritual if desired. The first part could be said while lighting candles and incense. The second could be a fourfold libation or other offering prayer. The third is a good meditation or chant if you're into that kind of thing. And the last part is a good closing. But it can also be said as-is if you want something short, memorable, and easy to use every day. Use it in whatever way makes sense to you.

Blessing Prayer

The fire of Netjer burns within me.
The incense of Netjer surrounds me.
I come to the shrine, fulfilled.

By day and by night, I am blessed with Netjer's presence.

By day and by night, I am blessed with Netjer's guidance.

By day and by night, I am blessed with Netjer's wisdom.

By day and by night, I am blessed with Netjer's protection.

All that Netjer is, I am,

And all that I am, is Netjer.

I breathe in the incense,

I bathe myself in Your light,

I am here with You at Your shrine, O Netjer,

May You love me as I love You.
